Hands-On Home Organizing Services in Columbus and Central Ohio

PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZING SERVICES

I help clients sort through what they have, make decisions, use their space better, and create practical systems for what remains. We can focus on one room, work through several areas over time, or plan around a move or change in your household.

Home Organizing

We’ll sort what you have, decide what should stay, and create practical homes for what remains. The systems we create will be based on how you use the space, who shares it, and what you are realistically willing to maintain.

Common projects include:

  • Kitchens and pantries

  • Closets and wardrobes

  • Playrooms and children’s spaces

  • Craft rooms

  • Home offices

  • Garages, basements, and storage areas

  • Whole-home projects

Moving and Unpacking

I can help you sort before a move, unpack afterward, and decide where belongings should live in the new home. Starting with clear homes for everyday items makes it easier to settle in and prevents boxes from becoming long-term storage.

Moving support can include:

  • Sorting and organizing before packing

  • Deciding what should move with you

  • Unpacking kitchens, closets, and everyday spaces

  • Organizing belongings as they are unpacked

  • Setting up systems based on your new layout and routines

Downsizing and Life Transitions

Belongings can represent decades of memories, interests, relationships, and family history. I’ll help break the project into manageable steps, organize the decision-making process, and keep the work moving at a respectful pace.

I can help with:

  • Preparing for a smaller home

  • Sorting belongings before a move

  • Working through inherited or family belongings

  • Adjusting a home after mobility, health, or household changes

  • Coordinating items for donation or another destination

Ongoing Organizing Support

Homes continue to change after an organizing project is finished. Work becomes busier, children grow, seasons change, and new belongings enter the home. I can return to reset the systems we created, adjust anything that is no longer working, or help with the next space on your list.

Ongoing sessions may be scheduled weekly, monthly, seasonally, or as needed.

Organizing Around How You Function

There isn’t one correct way to organize a home. I work with many clients who have ADHD or other neurodivergent needs, and each person requires a different approach. We’ll look at how you use the space and create systems that require less effort to follow.

That may mean:

  • Keeping frequently used items visible and easy to reach

  • Reducing unnecessary steps

  • Creating clear homes for belongings

  • Using labels when they make putting things away easier

  • Keeping categories simple and understandable

  • Making cleanup and resetting the space more manageable

Not Sure Where to Begin?

Schedule a free 30-minute phone consultation. You can tell me about the space, what has made the project difficult to start or finish, and what kind of help you need. We’ll determine a manageable next step.
